CONSTANTA T. EBRO-PROKESH, D.O. (NYCOM ’99), recently joined Greenspring Family Medicine in York, Pennsylvania. Specializing in family medicine, she completed an internship at Jamaica (N.Y.) Hospital Medical Center and a family practice residency at Heart of Lancaster (Pa.) Regional Medical Center. Prior to practicing in the United States, Dr. Ebro-Prokesh was an internal medicine and oncology physician in Romania. She is a member of the POMA, the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.

DOROTHY A. GENTZLER, D.O. (PCOM ’49), passed away on June 6, 2010, at the age of 87. Specializing in anesthesiology, she completed an internship at Memorial Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. A physician at Memorial Hospital for 25 years, Dr. Gentzler was also a medical consultant for the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. A life member of the POMA, she was a member of the American Osteopathic Association.
MORTON RUBIN, D.O. (PCOM ’43), passed away on October 21, 2009, at the age of 89. A board certified family physician, he completed an internship at Harbor Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. A life member of the POMA and the American Osteopathic Association, Dr. Rubin was a member of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Family Physicians Society. He maintained a practice in Philadelphia for over 30 years.
ROBERT B. SWAIN, D.O. (PCOM ’59), passed away on October 26, 2009, at the age of 77. Board certified in urology, he completed an internship and general surgery residency at Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Swain served as chairman of the urology department at Metropolitan Hospital and Suburban General Hospital in Norristown. He was also an associate professor of surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. A life member of the POMA and a member of the American Osteopathic Association, he maintained private practices in Norristown and Narberth, Pennsylvania, for 22 years.
